Bio

I graduated from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas Lee Business School in 2006 with a degree in Finance before serving 11 years in Navy Special Operations, where I conducted operations around the world alongside some of the most talented people I’ve ever known. After transitioning from the military, I became involved in startups, real estate, and equity investing while continuing to build businesses of my own, including Mahal Reserve. I also earned a Master’s Degree in Finance from Harvard University. In addition, I serve on the Board of Directors for the Navy Special Operations Foundation, where I focus on supporting the special operations community. Above all, I’m a proud father of two daughters.

Teaching experience

I have mentored students across a range of finance topics, from foundational personal finance and investing concepts to more advanced discussions surrounding market structure, macroeconomics, and congressional trading practices. My approach focuses on helping students build practical understanding, think critically, and apply financial concepts to real-world situations.
